Hi, I’m Robyn (she/her) and 2024 for me marks 16 YEARS OF FAWM. Holy crap.

This past FAWM, I tried to focus my work on spirituality and recovery. I came up with a lot and some wonderful collabs! For 5090 I’m going back to my usual approach, which is to just go where the muse leads me.

Thanks for comments on 'The Music Problem.' I've got to move from clever to comedic if I want to write a musical, but I did have fun writing it, and I'm just starting to understand the characters I'm creating! They need to let loose and crack a joke or two for me to understand them better.

Thanks for the comments on both my songs. You've guessed right that songwriting is a primary way to connect with spirituality for me - the only way to have certain conversations.
Interesting too that I wasn't trying for 'sultry' on "my baby asked me not to" but that's the way it came out 😬😇😂 so I ran with it.

Truly, the hoour is all mine.

As much as some people struggle with lyrics, it's the vocals, composition and instrumentation that make the piece a song. Without your (or everyone else's) contribution, it's scratches on a dead tree. Or digital equivalent. So thank you for bringing it to life.
