"We never did have that 3 way video chat along with Phil."
Paging @philnorman. Let's make it happen! I'll send an email with possible times.
[avatar]
Fine if you want to as I have already printed it and hung it above my fireplace. Can’t wait for Ad to come downstairs and see it 😅Love your Kristian collab dude!
[avatar]
STOP IT ODDBOD IM DEAD 😂😂
[avatar]
We simply MUST have different SoundCloud logos as I cannot fathom what you mean. Been staring at it for ten minutes now OB
[avatar]
Hey...I had a horrible cold, and then visitors( because I live in Florida)
I have just written skirmish songs till now. I don't know if your dance card is filled, or could there be a possible collab.
[avatar]
i did, in fact, get your e-mail! replying however, seems to be sorcery
[avatar]
We have one. You're in it. gtfo :p
[avatar]
You’re close! It’s Native Instruments’ Noire, the Nils Frahm concert grand piano.
[avatar]
Thanks for listening!

I find I’m getting the 80’s comment a lot. I don’t understand it yet, but I think I have an idea. :) To me, 80’s is marked by huge gated reverbs especially on snares and vocals, certain synth sounds, etc. I’ve also gotten the U2 comparison, so perhaps the guitar tone was used extensively first by U2 in the 80’s?
[avatar]
Thanks for listening to Malham Cove and for your kind comments! Yes the 'no reverb' was intentional... just trying a slightly different sound I guess.
[avatar]
Thanks for listening to Mountain. Yes capo on 5 and 6/8 time. Recipe for a folk song.
[avatar]
Thanks for deZonging Big Dog! Love me some Steve Earle so I’ll note that one as a compliment.
[avatar]
Thank a for having a listen and commenting. I’m ashamed to say I only really know Up The Junction. But I get what you mean, loose half rhyming.
[avatar]
Good lord, imagine that... "yes, I'd like the one with the tentacles and the colour pattetns that evoke the sense of the Sumerian underworld..." 😬
[avatar]
@oddbod - a FAWM favorite of mine! We worked on stuff in the past..she should do it again!
[avatar]
The guy who plays Mick....the way he says "marshmellow" lol.
[avatar]
There is no part 4. The songs are perfectly numbered in a partcular order. AH! But *what* order?? That's something you'll have to figure out which you won't cause you can't oh well la di da.
[avatar]
Heyyyyyy !!!!! I’m glad you’re here.
[avatar]
Hi Tim, I’ve just sent you an email about Tape 11! Speak soon
[avatar]
Hey Tim! So happy you are FAWMing. I read about your finger on the ailments section. I just have a broken toe, but that doesn't affect my voice :-) Hope we can do a collab again this year. Happy FAWMing!
[avatar]
If I had a song for every guitar I own, I'd already have my 2025 album done!
Looking forward to hearing another one of your obscure vintage axes that you've been hiding in the cupboards
[avatar]
Haha! What is a cruel affliction during any other month is a superpower during FAWM!
[avatar]
Happy FAWMing Tim!
[avatar]
Hi, it was a pleasure. I enjoyed listening to your Black Swan. If you get he chance please kindly listen to https://nadiacripps.bandcamp.com/track/the-haven-in-my-mind i collaborated on with Patty and Kate
[avatar]
Thank you for participating in sharing your song thread. Your Black Swan is amazing. I wish I learnt how to create music to sad subjects in upbeat rocking way. Very impressive and strong. Love it. Have a great FAWM.
[avatar]
Well, now that you've basically gone and requested it, I think I'm honour-bound to say yes!
Jolly glad to see you here again. I do love me a good Oddbod song to calm me down and reset my ears 😃
[avatar]
Hey 👋🏻 Yes, I felt it was time to free myself from the reference to a long dead band! As ever, I'm looking forward to hearing whatever you come up with this time around 😊
[avatar]
good to see you back, OddBodd-ee
[avatar]
That is a common problem with certain kinds of trauma symptoms. Your brain will lie to you.
[avatar]
Happy FAWMing!
[avatar]
Haha yeah agreed, Fuck That! I'm only friendly when I'm drunk because I'm passed out.
Good to see you too Tim! (not really).
[avatar]
How could I possibly let you know I'm here and when I've blocked you and therefore can't read any of your posts???
[avatar]
I wish you a wonderful and creative February!
[avatar]
Great to see you're playing this year. Always love your stuff. No pressure, mind. All the best.
[avatar]
Those first FAWM songs stick. Happy fawming!
[avatar]
Re: that IDLES - had me at "a little long in the gold tooth" and holy heck yeah this slaps on the choruses. Um, maybe this shouldn't be the last thing I look at before bedtime though...
[avatar]
Ello, squire!
[avatar]
Here we are!!!
[avatar]
Good morning to you, sir!
[avatar]
Can't wait to listen this year!
[avatar]
Just the one? Actually, I'll take it; La Nina has kicked in in the middle of summer and it almost feels like 5090 again.

May your FAWM be fruitful and fun.
[avatar]
G'day Tim. Can't see myself getting many songs done this FAWM, but will save a spot for an oddbod collab.
[avatar]
Helloooo so glad to see you! Happy FAWMing!
