Happy to be back for my third year.

I'm looking forward to writing, enjoying everyone's creations and collaborating.

I am a lyricist. I most often write lyrics first but enjoy writing to existing music too. I write in a variety of styles, and I am always trying new ideas.

Hit me up if you would like to collaborate :)

Hi Andrea,
Thanks for your comments on Even Zombies Cry! I was really pleased with this one, both the lyrics and the demo so it's great to hear that you like it
[avatar]
Hi Andrea!

Thanks for stopping by to read. I’m a cleaner and the sailboat chase… I’m really reaching at this point.

Putting up some really rough material, but I always appreciate your kind words, encouragement, and insightful comments.

Hope you’re enjoying your 5090… The leaves have started to turn near me :-)

The fact that u requested notification, re: "Barrel Racer" 🎶, @andrea : https://fiftyninety.fawm.org/songs/298009#c279547

Thanks for the listen and comment on 'Atomic Crazy'! Definitely NOT from the rock opera!
[avatar]
Thank you, Andrea. What fun it was to help Donna find her inner country songwriter. Appreciate the listen and kind words.
[avatar]
Hey, Andrea! Thanks for saying nice things about "I May be a Dreamer". I thought the lyrics were really musical to start with, so it was fun to strum along with it.
[avatar]
Andrea, I'm very pleased that you enjoyed Secrets Are Dangerous, my collab with @sheslin and @dgiarrap. Like you, I was struck by her lovely vocals and all the feeling she poured into the lyrics. It make me very happy to hear her rendition of this, because it was exactly what I had in mind when writing it, and what I hoped a musician could pull of. She did! And we had a good time together, so that's even better! Yes, Dominick, aka @dgiarrap, made a real contribution to the song, and Susan and I are both grateful to him for his skill with the percussion.

Hi Andrea, The Man in the Woods is still going through growing pains until I'm happy with it. I'll let you know when I finish it. But as you know we artists are a picky bunch. Lol. I just updated the voice an music. Let me know what you think, please.
[avatar]
Thank you so much Andrea for your beautiful comment on Lavender Tears.
[avatar]
Andrea, I just re-read your comment on My Magic Starship, and I realized I didn’t respond to your offer for a lyric suggestion. YES, OF COURSE, I’d like to know what you think would make it better! Sorry for being slow to get back to you.
[avatar]
Thanks so much for the thoughtful comment on our "Prettier" collab! :)
[avatar]
Hi! Thx for the listen and comments on Love Still Shines. I appreciate it! I don't have music for "Road Of.." I've just had this Bob Dylan kind of mumbling in my head while I was writing it. It will need to move along...it's a lot of words, maybe too many. :))
[avatar]
Thank you so much for your lovely comment on 'Goldenrod'. (-: Much appreciated.
[avatar]
Thank you, Andrea, I am glad that you liked The Ballad of Forgotten Treasures. I wanted the female voice for this song. And I am very happy it came out ok.
[avatar]
Are you registered with ASCAP yet and if so what is your name used there?
[avatar]
Thanks for your message, Andrea! I just found out that the email address can be found here, also, so I added mine, too. I will send you now an email.
[avatar]
Wow, Andrea, that is such a sweet comment you've given @billwhite51 and me about Missing Everything. I imagine he's as pleased as I am that you were emotionally moved by our piece. Thanks so much.
[avatar]
Hi Andrea, thank so much for your words on "Where the wildflowers grow"!!
Wow, it feels nice to get that kind of feedback, huh!
And great that you like the song and it gives you good feelings!
If you have some ready lyrics I would be very interested to collaborate. I am making songs, but in the lyrics I am weak. I already have many ready songs, but without lyrics.
[avatar]
thanks for the feedback on my collab for Sing A song of Love and Loss! I removed parts of the tamborine and reloaded it. I feel like it needs another update at the end, but it feels better now. Much appreciated!
[avatar]
Thanks for your kind words, Andrea - glad you liked it! :-)
[avatar]
Andrea, I know how busy you are, so I especially appreciate your taking time to comment on @lindsaymachine 's version of Sing A Song of Love and Loss. It's really fun for me to hear how different musicians approach the same lyrics. I agree with you that Lindsay's version feels light an happy. Thanks for chiming in.
[avatar]
Thanks for your lovely comments about "Come to My House", Andrea.
[avatar]
Thank you, Andrea!! ❤️
[avatar]
Hi Andrea, I spent the last several hours on this version, now to bed and ready for another day, packing. This was a nice break from what we are doing for a loved one. Hope you like it. New Version of "My Heart is Burning"
[avatar]
I see @cbmagic beat me to it may try a version if I get time working on a few things at the moment.looking forward to hearing this collaboration
[avatar]
I did get it done, (my heart is burning) I hope you like it.
[avatar]
Hi Andrea. Thanks for the invitation
to participate. I'm travelling this week but can take a look when I get home.
[avatar]
Here is a new one. I think you might like: https://fiftyninety.fawm.org/songs/301072#c274364
[avatar]
Thank you, I'm glad you liked my music.
[avatar]
Hi, this is my unedited voice, I ran it through an auto-tune so you will recognize the fluctuation. But that is to me having a lot of vibrato in my voice and it doesn't work well for that. https://fiftyninety.fawm.org/songs/301050
[avatar]
Hi, Andrea. Yes! I'm very interested in your suggestion for a lyric change in (Version2) My Magic Starship. Send me an email?
[avatar]
Thanks for offering to write some lyrics for "Aurora's Embrace"... please go ahead. Thanks
[avatar]
Andrea! So glad you liked cbmagic’s version of Sing A Song of Love And Loss. i do, too! What a great laid-back, bluesy-jazzy rendition. I am so glad he chose to participate in this experiment and that you took to the time listen and comment. Thanks!
[avatar]
Thank you for your kind words.
[avatar]
Hi Andrea, thank you so much for your kind comments on my music and collaborations.
[avatar]
Andrea, So glad you thought Gwyn's and my song, Bless Me, Father was, as you say, "seriously fun!" I think he did a fantastic job on it. I didn't give him any direction;I just knew he'd run with it...and I think the result is fantastic. Glad you enjoyed it, too. Thanks for your comments.
[avatar]
Hi, Andrea, Thanks for listening and commenting on Cavalcade, my collab with David Taro. I loved his creative approach to this, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it, too. It does feel very theatrical, particularly with those tempo changes.
[avatar]
Glad you enjoyed "Hold Me Tight - I'm In Love". Yes, it’s retro. A look back to, if not happier so at least, different times.
[avatar]
Hey - are you going to be around the whole 5090?
[avatar]
Hey there, Andrea, and thank you for the listen and kind words about She Took Me For Granite. Means a lot to hear that from you.
[avatar]
Thanks so much for all the song comments! I'm glad you were able to follow the story in the rock opera songs!
[avatar]
Hi, Andrea, Thanks for the support on. Sing a Song of Love and Loss. I’m glad you enjoyed it.. Paul took a rather uplifting take on it, which I hadn’t through of, and that’s the beauty of 5090.
[avatar]
Thanks for the lovely comment about "Sing a Song of Love and Loss". Musical? It does sort of have that sound. All I have to do is write another dozen or so songs and then Broadway beckons. (As if...)
[avatar]
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by for listens and comments. Hope all is well with you and the family.
[avatar]
Thanks for the listen and kind words on Through The Walls.
[avatar]
Andrea, Thanks for your support on Sing A Song of Love and Loss. I've always been fascinated with how different musicians will interpret the same lyric, so I continue to hope that we'll have a selection of songs from the same lyric.

[avatar]
Hi Andrea, first of all thank you so much for your wonderful feedback, I really appreciate it and to answer your question... Yes, I would love the opportunity to collaborate with you. Just let me know how you prefer things (almost all of my collabs have been lyrics first) and we can take it from there :)
[avatar]
Hi Andrea, thank you very much for listening and commenting on my music. I appreciate it.

Hi Andrea. Finally!!! Thank you so much for busting the "zong!" I was actually going to email you concerned there may have been something uncool in there and folks were reading and moving on.

Appreciate you taking the time to read Alison is Blind... It's certainly not finished... the reference going outside and "...getting thin." is simply a marker for me about going into the woods and taking it all in, spread yourself around, leaving the screen in hand at home. I guess the song somewhat speaks to some people looking for confirmation by creating on line personas and performances. IDK

What I really like is the chord progression and melody. It was definitely an improvement on what I usually do so that's a plus!

Looking forward to your next tune! I have to say @coolparadiso has been putting up some real rockers fwiw... :-)
[avatar]
Andrea, thank you for your comment on 'Serenity'. 😊(It's actually about pondering the meaning of one's existence and deciding to simply drop everything. Though of course relationships can play a role. 😉)
[avatar]
Hi Andrea. It's working now. Feel free to stop by at your convenience.
[avatar]
Thanks as well and consider this my belated greeting. Happy writing!
