Del (@trebled) writes: Yes, I’m an old romantic and, although I’ve not done much this 50/90, when I read Andrea’s beautiful lyrics I had no choice but to ask her if we could work together again. This was a collaboration in the truest sense - although I wrote and performed the music, Andrea (@andrea) gave lots of valuable feedback all the way through! Thank you, Andrea! :-)

Sweet lyrics. Lovely love song. Delivery and arrangement works well with a mix of longing and uplift in the melody. Great collab.

There’s something very captivating about this. A love song can so easily sound maudlin, but there’s not a touch of that in this. The words feel sincere, and just right, and the arrangement keeps it interesting, not predictable. Very nice collab, both of you.

Wonderful collab. The lyrics are so unaffectedly loving (beautifully so), but I like the way Del introduces minor chords and a kind of mellow vibe as I think pairing the words with a super saccharine musical treatment would have been a bit much! And there’s still those moments where it lifts, like the closing lines of each chorus. Also love the staggered layering on the ooos, they’ll be in my head most of the day I suspect! Well done both 👏👏

What a lovely song. Very sincere lines in the lyric with a matched sincerity in the vocal that is gracefully delivered. I enjoyed the "oo oo oos" as an extension of the feelings too. The music has a nice twinkling to it. Enjoyed all the musical elements. Good collab!

I've come to find that @andrea's lyrics are a treasure find for music arrangement. I honestly felt like this song could continue for another minute or two and I'd still be mesmerized by the words for their sincerity and depth; but also for this amazing arrangement. The vocal delivery, the choice of instruments...wonderful! This is yet another reason to enjoy this community so much. Collaborations like this are indeed a treasure to find. Nice job, you two!

So much to fun to hear someone else’s interpretation of a lyric I’ve imagined. I was thinking uptempo country song, but you sing it with so much genuine longing that I want to urge the You in the song to say YES. Great collaboration.

This is really interesting… Love the lyric and I love the performance… The minor key feel gives an underlying lament of the singer.

Makes me wonder if he’s yearning after someone who is uncommitted or is unsure About their relationship, really engages the listener ….

The chorus sounds like it’s heading into 60s type of pop sound… Very interesting combination I like it. Great Collab!

Really nice harmonies and Oo-Oo’s. Andrea’s simple and relatable lyrics really shine with @del’s polished treatment. You two have a classic romantic song here! I like that musical bridge, too. No idea what instrument it is, but it’s captivating. Nice work, both of you.
