I've been listening to Qveen Herby lately and wanted to play with some of her production style. Unsurprisingly, that turned into full on rap. Also I loved the "Barbaric yawp" skirmish prompt so had to do something with that.

wow - how long did you have to practice those fast lines til you could deliver them? I love it when people try new stuff (or maybe you've done this before?) and I've alway loved this genre (on the DL,😆)! Way to change the cadence of your lines from verse to verse also. Very cool.

So many great lines in here and I especially love the second stanza. “Die on that hill” is brill. Terrific rhythms you’re playing with. Reminds me a bit of Kreayshawn. (whoop whoop!)

aw man it's such a different way of writing rap than what i do. i really like playing with flow and lyrics and form, but here you really leaned into the simple repetition and went ham with the groove. really cool

excellent writing delivered in your own style of rap. the chorus is particularly catchy and memorable. you may not have intended this subtext which is purely subjective on my part, but i felt a clever contradictory pull in the word barbaric, at the same time alluding to a barbie doll and a Xena warrior queen.
