I’m into a lot of styles and I’m constantly surprising myself. My voice is classically trained, the rest isn’t. I love my electric guitars and my synthesizers. I would be a one-human-band if I could.

THANK YOU for listening. It means a lot to me!

2024: This is my first 50/90, after doing three FAWMs in a row, of which I won two. Whey! Never thought I could create that many songs in such a short time.
I don’t mean to reach 50 songs here. My main goal is to be prolific again after a long pause since February. And to be consistent. And to have fun with challenges and collabs.

I mostly do fully composed and hopefully decent mixed songs that I could put out into the world without much more effort. For me it’s part of my creative process. Maybe small demos or song ideas will be uploaded to stay consistent. Maybe also older songs or song ideas will be revisited, just because I have them lying around here and wanted to revisit them for ages.

P.S.: Probably my muse will be up to something entirely different. She can be an unruly mess.

PPS: Constructive criticism wanted and encouraged

I know you're super busy, but if you can see doing another duet let me know.

All you on first verse now ... Ahhh.

The most recent, Minuteman, could use a harmony if you're game. https://fiftyninety.fawm.org/songs/300991

Glad you like it! Here's to hoping there's more.

blushing is good for the circulation. You're welcome :)

back at ya...

Glad to hear you're ok. Sounds tough. Lots of my family are or were nurses. Take your time and if you get to adding a vocal, great.

cool stuff...

What happened Jil? I was looking forward to your vocal. I hope you haven't fallen down a wormhole! But seriously, hope you're ok. No pressure and be well.

Just sent to other gmail account.

Hi Jil - I've sent you some files by email.

Thank you, Jil, for the listen and the encouraging words about Good Examples of Bad Examples. Those lyric writers just blow me away with how easy they come up with things that pretty much sing off the page.

Thank you for your comments on 'Its Scary Now.'
You may have read that the song is part of a plot. That gives me a guide of sorts for the lyrics. In this song two people are anticipating change.
Your voice is beautiful, and your songs are too.
My song has one repeated verse. I'm writing a second to swap in that focuses on the relationship between the couple. Would you be interested in singing that second verse?

Thanks very much for listening and commenting on "Morning Coffee With You". Drop by any time.

5090 is odd. I've only "won" it twice, but out of one of those came an entire opera (so okay, that eventually ended up a disaster in all respects in all directions much later on but...) I find it's a good idea to aim for "prolific" and not the 50 because, my experience, life or for that matter death, fatal diseases, other disasters, all get in the way over the 90 day timespan!

Oh, I've been called much worse than that! :)

@sbs
Thank you so much for your wonderful comments on “A Man Like You.”

sometimes when that happens it's because of remaining nearly inaudible (but sonically measurable) reverb trails. Your daw thinks the song's still going so it renders until they're done. You can "auto trim" that no quite quiet via vsts, mostly unwanted noise under sludge down there anyway.

Looking forward to some IYL magic. Let the conjuring begin!
Hugs, my friend. Have a great summer
