Thank you for your comment, I have updated the liner notes for you.
[avatar]
Thanks for checking out Hollow Dreams I had a blast working on that one!
[avatar]
Oh cool, I didn’t know that was a thing either! 😅

Fun challenge, I’ll get on it then. 👍

Cheers for listening to my slide guitar improv and congratulations on hitting 14 tunes too! 🙌
[avatar]
Thank you for listening and commenting on "You Are The One, I Am The Other". I tried a lot of variations to set up that One/Other punchline in the chorus, so it's nice to hear that it's memorable!
[avatar]
Thanks for the comment :)

Thank you so much for your comment on "Hollow Dreams". I'm glad it smokes, cause I like BBQ sauce ;-) Just kidding, @chrismyth02 really killed it!

I wrote the song Blue immediately after my computer rebooted from the BSOD. So yeah.
[avatar]
You did it!! 4-tracks aren't so scary. Looking forward to hearing it!
[avatar]
Thanks for the comment on my latest ditty and nice to see you again this year. Last year was my first and I remember exchanging some listens then too. Glad to reconnect!
[avatar]
Thanks for your review of 'Plastic Bags ...' To answer your question, it's a Uke through a distortion effect, and some bass. Maybe I should've said 'No six-string guitars'!
[avatar]
Thanks for your sympathy on DAW paralysis. In addition, I find songwriting and getting better on guitar to be more pressing issues. Cheers

Thanks for the nice comment about Sidle Up (Turn Off the Lights). Much appreciated. And you are correct, that "ba-da-ba-bip" marimba sounding thing was the organ. Good ears!
[avatar]
Thanks for listening to my song with the name I couldn't pronounce 😂 I'm honest with you... comments first has been a real challenge to me. Not only musically (combining the droning 5th with other harmonies, argh!), but also personal. I'm still not doing well producing electronic music. It brings bad memories. But it's been worth a try, so I will finish this song.

The first morph is always the hardest. You did a great job! I decided against changing the lyrics cause I couldn't find better words... and it's not an anti synthetic where I could just have written the opposite.
[avatar]
Thank you, Mark! My voice just has that strange register shift around a where it gets reaaaally dark. Happy to hear you're done with your morph - can't wait!
[avatar]
Cassette 14 is in the mail as of today. Hopefully it gets there in a couple weeks (if not quicker).
[avatar]
It's your turn on the morph challenge. I've wrote you a mail with everything you need. Good luck!
[avatar]
Hey there! Can you e-mail me your address to add to the list? Alex is gonna need it to send the tape when he's ready. (zecoop at yahoo)

Thank you for your kind words on "This Beautiful Mess Called Life" I really appreciate it. I also like (and look out for) the production subtleties that can really lift a song up. Thank you for noticing that in my song :)
[avatar]
Thanks for your kind comments on my Palindrome entry! Nice to see a fellow New Englander around!
[avatar]
Thank you for listening and encouraging us on “Seventeen Again”! @greengrassgirl is a truly gifted lyricist and made it easy to create with! I am now a follower and will be checking your tunes! Blessings!
[avatar]
Thanks for the kind words about The Basement Couch. I'm a huge fan of The Band.
[avatar]
Thanks for the comment on "Hot Rod Demon Soul"! Movement was exactly what I was going for. I did have another cup afterwards, however.

Thanks for the compliments on Seventeen Again, my first collab with @markfulwider. What a pleasure to work with him. Glad you enjoyed it.

Oh yes I did have a lovely vacation, but I am about to go shovel my driveway again this morning. We will have 2 more months of winter here.
[avatar]
Hi there Kosch!! I suspect CT has had a similar winter to mine and I hope you are doing well! The mics for my acoustic are two pencil condensers (Audix f15), mounted at 90 degrees and pointed right at the 12th fret. One captures the neck and the other the body, then I pan the two in the mix. Pretty much my standard when the acoustic is prominent. I'll use one f15, a large diaphragm or a 57 if it is in a bigger song. :)
[avatar]
Hey, thanks mucho, man, and Happy FAWMing!
[avatar]
Thanks for the kind words on Borther, Hold On

Vocal treatment.

IZotope Nectar 3 and a IkMultimedia White 2A compressor on the vocals, plus IZotope Neoverb as a send return effect. I have a lot of plugins
[avatar]
Great! Got it! 👍🏻
[avatar]
Hiya! 👋🏻 I have added you to my spreadsheet. I'm trying to especially get everyone's email addresses because that's probably how I will send out the first message, so if you could drop me your email at some point this month, that would be much appreciated! I did get your other links. Have a great FAWM!
