Liner Notes

So, I think for this FAWM, in the interest of expediency (I'm a really slow producer...) I'm going to go with early morning, one cup of coffee, bang-em-outs. If I get a "prettier" version made I'll swap it out.

This song - the verse chord progression pre-dates FAWM. It was hanging around waiting for a song for a month or two.
Ended up a little darker than I envisioned. But, all we can do is follow where the song leads.

This song is just great. I've listened a few times and when I hear it I feel like I'm hanging with my buddies around the fire at our little camp smoking and drinking and having a good time. I don't know if that's what you were going for but that's how I feel while listening to this.

This one flows nicely. Relaxed guitar strumming sounds great and your voice is like laying back in an easy chair with a cigar and a glass of scotch. The lyrics are a little dark but with a pleasing mystery to them. Nice work.

"You and I both know that ain't true..." Great line! Applies to so many situations. And this one: "Good Lord, I'm going to open your eyes!" Classic! Your singing has a great rhythm to it.
