He/Him

Hi Everyone!

Update. It's Feb 18, 2025. I got promoted at work. I am now officially a rock climbing instructor at Vertical World in Seattle. The downside, for my FAWM, is I've been at work every day shadowing all the different classes in addition to teaching my own sessions. I'll try to make time when possible to get the ideas in my head out.

I love the quality of FAWM songs I've heard so far, especially from some of the new FAWMers. Last night I helped @javakat343 record a vocal for one of her collabs, and we began collaborating on another of her songs. She's an amazing singer and songwriter.

My ambitions for this year may have been too big. I may have to defer the a cappella vocal arrangement project. A few of my songs surprised me. I revealed some things that I never would have previously. I took down one song because I felt it was to angry, but I might put it back after I work on it some more - and find the courage to expose it to the world.

Anyway, I love you guys and wish you strength and continued inspiration. I believe that this is important work we do. It may feel hopeless at times, but it's anything but that IMO. We strip our souls naked and find that we are beautiful and valuable, even if no one listens. We don't melt or burn up. Then again, sometimes a song reaches the ears and hearts of others, and real change occurs. Our lyrics and melodies are as real as brick, steel and mortar, and our songs as functional as buildings, roads and bridges.

I absolutely did act on your recommendation. Thanks for that! You'll let me know when it's completed, yes?

....and congrats on the promotion, sir! Well done!

Hi @saulius,
Thanks for stopping by my page and listening and singing "bring peace" :) If you're so inclined, I'd love for you to record a pass and send it to me so I can include it. :)
Blessings! :)

Thank you so much for your thoughts on "Trying So Hard". It's so cool to hear what a song brings up for other people. Your comments really expanded the initial thoughts I had in originally writing the song. I appreciate that very much!

Your comments on my songs made my day! Thank you so much for all the kind words you wrote. I’m glad you enjoyed. Can’t wait to listen to yours!!!

No, I haven't read Carly Baer's thing. Glad it helped you, though. 😀

Absolutely. I listened to walking the rail the other day.

Heard the music so I've edited my comment on "I saw that picture..." rather than leaving a new comment--the more comments you end up with, the harder the song becomes to find for newcomers and I think this one deserves to get more listen/comments!

how are things a SIS? I left in the fall of 2012. i contributed two things to the group before i left. one was a sunday afternoon booking at the historical society in fremont that i shared with a hand=picked dozen or so fellow SISers. the other was a show i created for julie cascioppo that i called The House of Julie. it took place in the chapel in the former house for wayward girls in wallingford. the concept was a live variety show who would perform and be interviewed by julie. for the first show, i booked SIS members exclusively. the series continues to this day. when did you join?

Well met! Thanks for connecting. I'm looking forward to hearing your songs, too.

Your comment on "I Miss You Badly" really touched my heart, thank you so much for that. I'm so glad the song connected with you <3

You have made me blush - and that doesn’t happen very often. Thank you!

Hello friend! How goes it? Good to see you back in FAWMland. I read your goal(s) and I do hope you reach them. You're off to a good start. I'm going in for a listen. I'm out of town at the moment, but will try to chime in when time permits. Let's get it!

And I thank you for letting me into your creative process and ideas. I'm willing should you want to collaborate.
