@cheslain: Geoff is on a songwriting hiatus but he sent me this tragic piece some time ago. I love the tragic tone and I decided to make it a folky piece. Unusual for me it consist mostly of simple cowboy chords.

Instrumentation: acoustic and electric guitar with just a little bit of slide, and bass

Just the fact that this is a country song that uses the word "chagrin" makes it a cut significantly above the rest but that tasteful slide guitar is the icing on the cake. Nicely done, chaps.

This is exactly up the alley I've been creeping through this past year plus, musically, for fun. I've been headlong into the alt.country/americana realm and this would fit in perfectly. I want you to teach me how to do that slide guitar because it'd fit perfectly in some of the demos I want to do. This is excellent both lyrically (what a great story to relate, the chorus hits just right) and musically.

I remember these lyrics from the Muse. They are hard to forget. That hook line is mental emotional perfection. Fabulous treatment for these lyrics. Lovely music and vocals. That repeat at the end is just right. Great collab!
