i set out to make a noise track using some new guitar pedals i got. i am putting together an affordaboard (mostly) made up of budget mini pedals (mostly). in the middle of all the noise, my cat Benny made an appearance and eventually took over the video entirely. so this piece is called Cat Noise.

Loving the control on the noise! I’ve recently been bitten by the builder bug, currently working to get CV to control everything! Trying to get bass and drums together to put a band on stage with a friend who built a satellite dish noise machine (guitar pickups on goosenecks under it through all the effects, springs,broken cymbals, etc on top for drum noise fun!)
This was nice and refreshing! We’re north side of OC, maybe one day we’ll play?

This also reminds me of the Forbidden Planet soundtrack which was performed by Louis and Bebe Barron (which is still one of the best pieces of electronic music you'll ever hear but the Academy refused to even nominate it for an Oscar because they said it "wasn't music." Philistines, the lot of them.) This was great fun to listen to and watch!

I love budget pedals. I highly recommend the donner stylish fuzz. I have a flamma chorus that’s pretty sick too.

Such lovely noise! Huge fan of the genre and your approach to it! Very cool modulated generative feedback…plus some sweet sounding regular feedback. You get some dubstep/riddim bass sounds out of that geetar at points too. Very cool

nice. Reminds me of the Boredoms. I’ve been listening to noise a bit lately. I hoping to try my hand at it soon, but I am not in the right headspace yet. Soon…. I like that this is live. And there’s Benny! Camera must be warm, or purring.

I love all that great noise, and the bonus cat. I'm a guy who occasionally tries to find some amp simulators in garageband that produce sounds I don't hate. I'll pay you to come to my house and set me up with some guitars and pedals. Then maybe I'll learn to play :)
