Innuendo galore! Thank you to @robinleaf for this challenge! Friends of mine used to joke "Get your mind out of the gutter; I need to float past." That inspired me when I saw the skirmish. (It's also my first skirmish!)

Very tempting! 😀 You make the gutter sound like a very appealing place, with your tuneful, inviting guitar and cheery vocals. And indeed, sometimes wallowing there (metaphorically/artistically speaking) can be a joy. And you wrap it up nicely with a broader point in the third verse too. Nice skirmish!

@robinleaf I looked up and saw the skirmish, and said "Lunch can wait!" I may tweak this, because this is one of my go-to chord progressions (which means it's hard for me to do melodies that are not almost identical), and I think I'm a little bit down in the basement so I probably need to change key upwards a fifth or so, but I really liked the idea you sparked in my brain with it!

Hahahaha "abandon soap"...I love that so much. This is kind of cute and wholesome at the same time as it is advocating for being in the gutter... 😅 I really enjoy the upbeat, folky tune. I'm glad you decided to try a skirmish! Thanks so much for trying mine.
