The scifi sounds with the old tape effect give this a retro-futuristic vibe (if that makes sense - like the 2030s as imagined by the 1960s)

Eerie, creepy, and cool. Loved it! Like something out of Ed Wood's "Plan 9 from Outer Space." Interested to learn of the short story's name on which this instrumental is based, and of its story's tale.
