Liner Notes

(deleted) came up with some lovely words that just spoke to me, and with his permission, a song is born into the world that is not inconsequential. Fingerstyle guitar and mandolin. Thanks John!

Lyrics

I watched the fading sunset
Give way to constellations
Twinkling in the firmament
Cosmic declarations

I stoked the dying embers
Went back to contemplation
Sitting in the campfire’s warmth
Simple meditation

In a world so full of majesty
Beauty and intensity
Those problems once unsolvable
Seemed small, inconsequential

You have to look at things from every angle
And eventually you’ll see the way
The knots in life can be untangled
Enigmas unscrambled

In a world so full of majesty
Beauty and intensity
Those problems once unsolvable
Seemed small, inconsequential

I watched the fading sunset
Give way to constellations

Wonderful lyrics, beautifully presented. I like how you took a word like “inconsequential” and made it sound not only good, but perfect. I can hear the audience joining on that word.

It's a lovely message. The fingerpicking is really pretty. Makes me think of twinkling stars. The vocal tone is just perfection. Great collab!

Really nice how this came together. The mandolin and vocals support and enhance the lyrics beautifully. The music of the cosmos!

What a lovely voice and overall feel of the song.

Gorgeous sensory images and wonderful introspection in the lyrics and the mandolin is so brilliant like the stars of a constellation. Lovely song. Magical special feel that takes me to the northwoods watching the transition of a quiet sunset to a spectacular night sky amid towering pines.

What a delightful song. Tasty guitar and mando bits and a pleasant tune by which to carry the upbeat lyric along.
