On the anniversary of a friend's passing, his wife told me that he said "I love you" for the first time on the top of Killington just a couple of weeks after they started dating decades ago. Ugh... such great friends, 4 kids, 2 had graduated and were making their own way and two still in college. As things declined it seemed like 18 months of grieving and daily celebration as the inevitable made it's way to their home.

She's maybe 5'... 5'2" they met as "kids" working at killington and then summer jobs 'down the cape'. Thought is was such a wonderful thing to know... Truly hollowed me out when he passed...
