here's my first song for this year's fawm. this is a short one. and these are some good old nonsense lyrics.

i'm performing this song live as a one man band. i'm using an octave pedal for the bass sound. i'm using Roland One pads for the drums. and i'm playing my custom firebird guitar, with a lipstick humbucker that i built and painted myself

I continue to be impressed by your one man band approach.
I love it when in pop songs the singer suddenly starts up with the "do do do" thing.
"Should we write another verse?"
"Nah, can't be bothered. Just sing "do do do" or something."

If I had to interpret the lyrics, it seems to be a dig at the songwriting challenges in the forums, haha. That plus social media as a place where friends become annoyances. Great t have you back FAWM-ing once again!

the title came from something i jotted down a while back for a song that never happened. i came up with new vocal melodies and started improvising some other lyrics, but that was before i hit record. once i had a few lines i liked, i ran through it twice. what you heard was take two.
and the distortion is a Rat clone.

Do the lyrics make sense? Maybe? Do they have to? No. Most of 90s rock songs are like yours - just having fun and great harmonies. The first line is so cool!

there's a nice airy sensation to this song that I can't quite place. Not so much nostalgic as vaguely familiar. Like an ear-worm, or half-remembered idea. Cool.

Man, I read the title and my immediate thought was…. 🤔 I’m not sure that’s entirely the greatest advice. But then the Roland drums kick in and the fuzzy guitar washes over you and… maybe I SHOULD get my enemies cloned! The gibberish verse is particularly fun. Strong opener!

Punky power pop with an attitude. Love the minor chord progression on the chorus. It gives the song an extra edge. Nice!
