I parodied the Start A Fire phenom. With apologies to Stephen Wordsmith,

Lyrics

The forecast claims that skies are clear although you’re getting wet
And wrong turns are aplenty when you make another yet
One thousand long kilometers right into days of rain
And it’s hard to find a choir lost in Spain, lost in Spain
It’s hard to find a choir lost in Spain

There’s nothing but a map to hold when you find that you are lost
You wish your cell would work for you no matter what the cost
Your singing friends are lost with you, lost it seems again
Yes, it’s hard to find a choir lost in spain, lost in Spain
It’s hard to find a choir lost in Spain

The trickle through your fingertips of rain that lasts too long
The dampness of the paper of a map that’s very poorly drawn
The flicker of a flashlight when its pow’r falters fast
The sputter of the batt’ries that could never hope to last

So once again we set our soul into the sparks that fly
With a flame that sputters out with sparks that slowly die
To help us find our way once more and get lost once again
Yes, it’s hard to find a choir lost in spain, lost in Spain
It’s hard to find a choir lost in Spain

imagining some kind of off-track Camino de Santiago here. the tune suits the misfortune of the soggy singers!

This is my new favourite thing. Brilliant rewrite, brilliant arrangement. Most triumphant!

Next time you lose a choir here, I am just a phone call away! With my local contacts we'd find them in no time 😜

Great acoustic guitar driven rhythm! Super vocal that works so well for these lyrics, it even has the classic Spanish chord sequence, if I am not mistaken.

It's refreshing to hear some different lyrics after the other three dozen. There is some good lyrical synergy with the original. Fit the new theme very well, and tells an engaging story. Still getting used to hearing 'kilometres' in an American accent 😀
