This song started last night when I was putting a child to bed; I played the verse bass while I was waiting. The rest came fairly naturally from that. I have no idea is Das Fledermaus is grammatically correct, I just preferred the sound to "Die.."
I don't know why I am tempted to end so many songs at a different tempo at the moment.

Classy bass riff, although you playing bass may have had something to do with the long wait for the child to go to sleep? Love the touches of fuzzy guitar, and there are some great lines in there - enjoyed ‘that’s kind of gross but so am I’. Also, I am so there for any track sporting the lesser spotted #europeanmammal hashtag.

This is my cup of tea, so to speak. Everything sounds great, rocking and catchy. The chorus is super. The drums sound live. Did you actually play drums after putting the kid to bed? :)
