This song is in response to the song “Johnny” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yER4pDhEmMc) by October Project. There are two lines I’m responding to here: “Happiness is just around the corner,” and “Happiness is just a life away.” Although I absolutely love the song, my response to those lines, mildly speaking, is “F that sh*t.” Happiness is right here, always. You just have to reach out and take it.
