Find Your Meditation
Skirmish: Found or Find (@kahlo2013) Challenge: Refrain (No Chorus)Liner Notes
Thank you Liz for the inspiring title. Sorry, late for the party. I was meeting my brother and I've just recently got back. Spent under 1 hour so hopefully it counts as skirmish :)
Thank you, as always, for listening and commenting. Collaboration with @florian will be coming later. Stay tuned :)

Nadia, At Florian's request, I just sent him some lyrics for this track (two options.) I think your music is beautiful! Can't believe you composed this in over an hour. It took me almost two days for the first draft of the lyrics! 😀
Hmmm...while I sincerely love this tune, I don't think of it as "contemplative". More of a VERY melodic romantic song CRYING OUT for some lyrics. Seriouly, people. Someone needs to set this to some words. One of your best, Nadia! ❤️
I'm hooked. I'm now listening to this for the umpteenth time. 10? 15? I've lost count. This opens worlds in my mind. This solo piano version sounds like a sunny lake scene to me, warmth and smiles on a couple's faces. At the same time, I can imagine a musical version, a young girl singing what she hopes to experience on a planned voyage. And then there's an orchestra version, as we're riding our bikes down this long road to the sea on a lazy afternoon, mountains of clouds billowing over the glittering water, sea gulls crying.
There is such yearning in the opening and then I feel a sense of wisdom. Then that wisdom is being imparted as the first theme returns. Lovely piece. You should write incidental music for films, you have a gift for taking a topic and composing melodies that fit that topic perfectly.
Very meditative and flowing. It feels like you know where it's going and then a surprise chord comes out to let you know that you need to be present. Lovely.
I like the feelings of optimism and new perspectives in the right hand parts.
Nice! Very relaxing and beautiful. This definitely lulls away the negative thoughts.
So beautiful! At first I thought the title was “Find Your Medication” - lol! Well, that would be music so I guess I found it.
Ooo this is so filled with wonderful reflective things. Incredible!
So glad that you were able to do this skirmish. The music flows so beautifully and invites meditative reflection. Very relaxing and pretty!
