I’m going to borrow the word ‘jaunty’ from @ayais, as I can’t think of a more apt adjective. A big ol’ singalong tune, marginally talented band or not, you can’t help but be swept away. Absolutely love the lines ‘You’ll be watching the ball / And then you’ll trip on the truth’. Splendid work.

Good dynamics. Fine abstract idea ... and it relates to us all, which is appealing. Love 'dowsing rods cross' - unexpected and fun. Delivery jaunty and sweet.

Very upbeat song for you! I like the way you sing "rabbits" and "the dream team." Really melodic tune with a memorable chorus. Great title/lyrics, as we can all identify with the ideas expressed therein.

I really dig this one. This could be a teenage fan club tune. Very cool lyrics and performance. If you want bass and drums on it, you can always hit me up. I’m a pretty mid drummer but my brother is tight and I can fumble around on bass and stuff.

Nice tune, i get more of a resignation vibe than pure optimism, but not like a sad one, more of a make lemonade with those lemons thing, I started thinking about John Darnielle when listening
