this is supposed to be total nonsense. it did end up sounding a little bit sexual, but that was not really my intent. just a silly song about hotdogs in or around a carwash.

the video is just a bunch of weird hotdog footage i found on youtube.

the gear:
i’m playing a frankenstein strat that i built and wired myself. i’m using a mustang micro headphone amp simulator. for “bass” im playing that same guitar, but using a Pog octave pedal into a fender sidekick bass 50 amp. it’s mic’d up with an SM58. i’m playing the drum parts on a midi keyboard. for vocals i'm singing into an SM58.

This was a total blast. Of hotdog. I really enjoyed the demented energy, and the full-throated commitment to tubes of processed mammal protein. It reminded me a bit of the mad energy of Blotto's "I Wanna Be A Lifeguard", and of Tonio K's first album or two. From a production standpoint it totally nails the genre. And that video was beautifully done as well. This is the full package.

What a profound and utter delight! The way this straddles the line between joyful, childlike innocence and (unintentional, you say?) filthy double-entendre is just breathtaking, and as much fun as I've had in 2.2 minutes as I remember. This is deeply, deeply awesome!

'A little bit'.... 😬 I mean, you are a frickin' musical mad scientist, and I love you for it. But I also can't see how you got to the end, looked back at lines like 'there’s wieners right outside', 'they’ll shoot mustard and relish on the windshield', 'salty meat can not wash your car', 'meat in your seat', 'shaking your buns', 'rub sauerkraut on the steering wheel'... and THEN go hmmm, that turned out a bit sexual 😂😂😂😂. Awesome. This reminds of the 1970’s! I could see the Ramones playing this as an outtake in Rock N Roll High School. Has hints of the Violent Femmes and an aftertaste of Weird Al. Cool.
