Book: Life Beyond Earth - Timothy Ferris
Pg: 160
Galileo's observations blew the roof off the universe, Aristotle on the contrary, the Earth is not the only world, housed in a starry nutshell.

It's one among many worlds, and there's no nutshell at all. The Sun is a star, and every star is a sun. The mathematical laws of nature that pertain here on Earth work everywhere else as well. And if there's life here, why not out there?

Here's my take! This was fun!

Lyrics

V I
And the universe was blown away
What he saw beyond the sea
Past the stars that orbit me
Then his friend blew that away
Worlds after worlds without end he’d say

C
All stars a sun, all sunny stars
For us here and them afar

V II
Our universe with neighbor Mars
All suns’ a world universe round stars
Looking further, further on
Out into space exploring’s dawn
Flying into, out and through
Oh, through deep space, and beyond

C
All stars a sun, all sunny stars
For us here and them afar

V III
And the numbers here
Will work there
Lift us off, so we can share
Discoveries when they break
New solutions, there won’t be lies and
Space time curving round an event horizon

C
All stars a sun, all sunny stars
For us here and them afar

Not only are these so engaging, but they are also enlightening. The universe is so immense all new discoveries are amazing (be it small or big). Love your take on the prompt - well done!

Lovely, image-rich lyrics, bright and powerful. And on a topic very dear to my heart. (-:

Tremendous take on the random sentence.

Beautifully captivating lyrics. I hope to hear them.

Awesome prog rock lyrics, appropriately both trippy and thoughtful and perfect for late night contemplation. This does a great job of focusing the reader / listener on how infinitesimally small a part we are of the universe as a whole...

Poignant reflections on that moment. I hope this gets music.

Really captures the enthusiasm of the discovery of things being equivalents to each other and all the giddy implications. Nice emotional writing.

Yep, there's plenty of solar systems hiding in the starts in our night sky. Always interesting to think about what might be out there even if we might never see it. Nice lyric
