Lots of great lines, and lots of great points made in the incisive and thoughtful lyric. 'toxified' is an excellent word choice! as someone who writes alot of political stuff, this is appreciated

Hmmmm…link to your song isn’t working for me but the lyrics are stark and the thoughts are organized into interesting patterns. Since I was a young man…I’ve never understood the US being “the freedom place” but also HAVING “the patriot act”

Folks get lost in the theater of it all…honestly I think that’s more the point than an unfortunate side effect. Maybe it’s true, freedoms just another word for nothing left to lose.
