Peaceful. This is what I think Porcupine Tree would sound like if they were Irish.

Immediately creeped out with that whisper.
Immediately relaxed when that fat bass sound came in.
Perfect amount of reverb here.
The violin is a great touch.
The real star here for me, though, is that bass.
Yeah, so nice.

That bass is wonderfully inviting. The other instruments build up a magical world of imagination!

Kinda like ambient folk with added bass. Very nice start to 5090 and definitely one to listen to again.

@kiffa
Your ability to transport the listener to another world through music alone is something that I admire. And as always, your production is top-notch, everything feels like it's sitting right where it's supposed to. Don't know how you do it.

All the qualities I admire in your compositions. Plus a bonus photo! It would be easy to make it just another ambient piece. But you always keep things interesting!

A beautiful calming song, with a slight haunting feel from the tootlestick. Great work.

Such a wonderful calm and meditative feel that transforms my mood almost instantly! Love the flow of the melody and the combination of sounds.

This puts me in just the right mindset to just...relax. Even if I were to press my thoughts on things to do just the opposite...it's a futile thing. This tune just lets me take a few moments to not fret. Just relax. Very cool, double D.

This is very pleasant. I actually like the drums most of all. Great vibe. 😄

@sph
The bass sets up the tempo and feel. The flute melody sounds as noble as folky to me. Very nice how the violin sound and the flute play together at last.

Fabulous tootlestick work! The sense of atmosphere and movement you conjure is really cool. And it all syncs so well with that sunset image.

Wow, lovely intro! The rest is very good as well. Great start for 50/90

the bass sounds like lonely footsteps trodding through an unfamiliar landscape.there is beauty in the unknown, and the distant voice intoning the invitation to dance is beautifully out of place

@gm7
Great start..great feel form all the song elements. Flute my fav..played over a beautiful sunset!

*applause* I noticed each element seperately. Neat.

And he's off! What a lovely start – love the violin and, of course, the tootlestick.

My first listen of the summer, and what a lovely way to start things off this is. Bass, flute, and violin all gelling together very nicely. Takes me back to the days when watching "Robin of Sherwood" was a must, every Saturday...

Nice transitions. Shows well an image of "the shifting of the light."
[avatar]
Nice tootling, and it builds nicely with the violin. Cracking start to the summer!

Very nice introduction! Mystical, enchanted and at the same time sad and thoughtful. Bass wonderful as always!
The whispering again and again is also very nice. Beautifully complemented by violin and flute.

Very nice!

How could you not give us a cracking bass line out of the blocks! Has a very uplifting feel to this! That change after the little vox is masterful and really adds to the emotional value! top first up!

Bass driven prog ambient production. Nice one!

Such an intriguing start - flows into a mood that fits my morning.
