I miss writing and performing music. I used to perform at least twice a month and now it’s down to twice a year… ish. I fully intended to go full FAWM this year, but we’ve just adopted two rescue kittens who are living in my music room at the moment. They’re definitely a cute distraction. Most of my lyrics come to me when I’m riding around town on my bike. Feels like the only time I’m not plugged in. The following paragraph is what I wrote last year… still rings true so I’m leaving it. Happy FAWM friends!

I am a songwriter from New Jersey who has been living in Tokyo, Japan for most of my adult life. I write most of my songs while riding around town on my electric bicycle with one of my kids in the back seat. I have very little time to myself these days, but I still record little melodies or strings of lyrics with my phone pretty often. I'm going to make a concerted effort to get at least 1 song out into the world this FAWM. Happy FAWM everyone!
