Thank you for the great prompt. I'm sorry, but it's a true story. It was the last weekend when I saw someone who I can never have visiting any longer. Of course, music without words is often open to suggestions and interpretations. Even the words can be perceived differently, but without the words, music can speak to each of us in its own way. I picture a woman in a Victorian dress running thru a foggy birch forest in winter. And that's the beauty of an instrumental. Definitely soundtrack material. Nice take on the skirmish.

Beautifully written and played, Nadia. It's easy to see the scene roll out, with the sense of longing and love, and all that entails. This is my first skirmish this FAWM and the first of yours I've heard this year. I look forward to hearing the rest. I just got back to Mexico from the US and am finally able to join the Fawmily fun. It's going to be a very busy week!

Beautiful piano...so full of melancholy and easy to picture the breakdown of a relationship being played out on screen to this.

I think melancholic is really apt for this, but there's also a sense of lost grandeur as well. Something from a long time ago, when values were different. Well, you did ask. Nice interpretation of the skirmish!
