I came across a snippet @billwhite51 posted in response to the #chancewritting challenge posed by @musicsongwriter I expanded the section into a whole lyric and sent it along to Bill he made some great changes and sent it back for me to record a version. It could be fun to hear it with a very different musical setting - that represents the glittery fake world of Rodeo Drive instead of the Girl in the Rambler who is maybe a lot more familiar with rodeos and barrel riding.

dressed in sunny outfits

waiting for the walk sign
one asked the other lass
"shall we stop for sushi
or go straight to yoga class?"

I was in my /rambler
idling on red
I'd replaced my muffler

Ive got perch in the back
but if you want to practice yoga

they crossed before the light changed
just to get away from me
i wanted to be with them
but my light would not go green
