Oh, how that yodel brings back memories! This is a hoot; worth the listen just for the connotations of the word "swinger" which add a whole other bunch of subtexts to the song...

thats the tarzan i remember old Johnny Weismuller (olympic champ by the way - 5 golds). i loved this lyric and you have delivered it brilliantly so funny! even down to the chirping birds

My brother and I would both tell you that we have read EVERY SINGLE EDGAR RICE BURROUGHS TARZAN BOOK EVER WRITTEN--and in his case (and partially mine), twice!! I'm a HUGE fan of the old Johnny Weismuller movies. That Tarzan yell, by the way, is not completely "human"--it's a bunch of audio weirdness put together back in the 30s (?) Anyway...this is also a great dance song! ❤️
