Helen: Val sent me this track. I listened to it on repeat while I went for a walk. The combination of walking and the trainbeat suggested travel to me. I used my fretless cigar box guitar as a make-shift lapsteel. It would have been easier if the frets had been marked out, but I think it's not a bad first attempt.

Some interesting instrumentation going on in the background, really adds to the train song vibe. Really liked the line "Always lonely; never alone". Really captures that traveling train song feeling.

I love trains and I'm getting a rockabilly vibe. Super collab and harmonies. The CBG sounds great!

this sounds great. It's got a really nice driving guitar that keeps pushing it forward and feels a bit like a train which works really well with the themes in the song. Great stuff!

The music is fabulous, and I absolutely love the lyrics. Hard to believe they were created at different times. Catchy and fun with supreme vocals. This one has it all. Amazing collab!

reminds me just a little if the pretenders had they been a country band. the cigar box guitar functions well as a lap steel, blending in nicely with the backing track, and the vocals chug along with just the right travelling feel.
