Lyrics

In the heart of the jungle, where the ancient spirits dwell
A sound like thunder, but no clouds to tell
Eyes turn skyward, in awe and in fear
What strange magic brings this creature here?

Elders whisper of legends old
Of gods and demons, stories untold

Silver bird in the sky so high
No feathers, no wings, yet you still fly
What worlds have you seen with your metal eyes?
Silver bird, you've changed our lives

Children point and wonder, at the trail of white
Cutting through the heavens, a path of misty light
Is it friend or foe, this bird from afar?
Bringing change and knowledge from beyond the stars

Elders whisper of legends old
Of gods and demons, stories untold

Silver bird in the sky so high
No feathers, no wings, yet you still fly
What worlds have you seen with your metal eyes?
Silver bird, you've changed our lives

Two worlds collide in the blink of an eye
Ancient and modern, earth and sky
What wisdom is lost, what truths will we gain?
As silver birds bring a new refrain

Silver bird in the sky so high
No feathers, no wings, yet you still fly
What worlds have you seen with your metal eyes?
Silver bird, you've changed our lives

The world grows smaller, yet mysteries remain
In the meeting of old and new, what will we attain?

This is remarkably good. I love the photo with it. Imagine being one of those people looking up at that whatever-it-is in the sky! The music is so perfect with the message. And I like the imagery in the lyrics: trail of white a path of misty light/metal eyes/silver bird--great stuff!
