This is topical for me--I have a friend with pretty serious depression issues and my (wrong, wrong, wrong) instinct is to always give advice and tell them to "cheer up". (I was a divorce lawyer in an earlier life and that's what I got paid to do). GOOGLED what I should be doing instead and the GOOGLE gods recommended I go to a therapist myself for advice on dealing with it. So I have an appointment next week. Great song by the way! ❤️
