Man, if I could record an acoustic guitar, I would be a lot happier. I think there's the germ of a good song here. I will write a more serious lyric and revisit this later. (To be honest, though, this is a serious lyric. I am skipping rather lightly today, feeling very creative. This, like many of my little songs, is a song I sing to myself.)

I like it when you sing to yourself. "Stringing beads drawn from your font of cliché" is a GREAT line. Laughed at "Danny sucks," etc. but the overall feel is melancholic and rueful. A lovely listen.

And I do love that sense of just doing you, accepting the moments of genius and imperfection alike, and skipping along lightly as a result. Nice work man.

caught between the praise and the shame, when you are misunderstood on either end. some will love you, some will hate you, but there are few that will really know you. so goes the syndrome of being under-appreciated and over-esteemed, when you are simply doing your best at what comes naturally to you. as director/cinematographer told me in respnse to the negative reviews of his film Latino. "Nobody knows the faults of that film better than I do."

You delivery is really gorgeous - the light and lovely guitar and the gentle vocals float and skip into my thoughts. I love the poetic nature and insight you bring to the lyric. While short, there is wonderful depth and introspection. Well done!
