Coming late to the skirmish because it's been a week. The melody kept not cooperating until it suddenly fell into place tonight. So, here - have a song about perfectionism and how to let it go. Thanks to @wylddandelyon for all the helpful feedback on Monday, and thanks to @atornberg for the skirmish prompt! In the spirit of the song, I did a #onetake and left my errors in.

what great advice and a fine fine song! really great lines here, and yes, very universal. Musical setting is perfect for this lyric, too- nice performance too. 'let what you're making be you' is such a great summation line!

beautiful melody with those the chord progressions! and the lyrics are so inspiring. it's definitely something I should sing to myself everyday. every artist at that.
