Mmmm...this is mesmerizing. I love the ambience and that heartbeat. Guitar is great too. The short lines land perfectly amidst all that. I'm sitting here meditation on the idea of dead flames and caged clouds. This is genuinely transfixing. (I'm always a sucker for bells)

This is punctuated with those airy guitars and syncopated drums. The spare lyrics and moody vocals fit well with the music...great job!

i like how the lyrics are deceptively simple but this track does a lot with them -- vocally, melodically, and in terms of the music and beat. Very nice, atmostpheric sound with a great heavy rhythm and moody music. Terrific collab!

The satiny vocals and the syncopated rhythm work so well together! The rich arrangements paint a magnificent sonic chiaroscuro that echoes the dead flame theme perfectly.

I like the staticy keyboard that kicks the song off. The slow pace really sets an ominous mood, accentuated by the occasional sax/bells/other sounds. Lyrics very dark. Vocals a pleasure!

lyrics are amazing and these might be my favorite mahtowin vocals. the music track is the ideal bed for the vocals and lyrics. everything is so direct and vivid, yet still mysterious.

I like the dark, almost ominous vibe at the start of the song. Great ambient and Jazzy feel to the song.
