Elemental

Liner Notes

Just to show that I'm not all about the Fantom, here is a track entirely made up of good old Virtual Instruments.

As well as having its own sounds, the Fantom makes a very good midi controller, I have a "scene" saved which acts as my DAW control allowing me to map a fair few buttons to control the virtual stuff.

I think that is where the 'elemental' name came from, going back to what I knew before the Fantom. I used Native Instruments Piano Colors for the first time, how have I not used this before, it is amazing!

Used to make this track:
Reaper DAW (by the way all tracks have Ozone 10 covering off the mix)
NI Piano Colours
BBCSO Clarinet & Trumpets
NI Orchestral percussion Celeste
Heavyocity Foundations Emotive Choir & Staccato Strings

There's a richness to this, right from the start. It feels full and spacious. I can imagine all kids of elemental scenes while this music plays -- forest glades and shafts of light. Love those ethereal voices that come in.

You're painting a lovely, ethereal soundscape here. 'Serenity' is the word that comes to my mind as I'm listening.
Enjoying all the sonic adornments that appear throughout the piece. Well done.

Beautiful composition. I play quite a bit of jrpgs, and this has cinematic cut scene vibes all throughout. Epic fantasy going on in my mind right now.

Nice use of choir and pizz strings. They blend well with the repeating piano/bell sounds. Very cinematic.

Relaxed but sweeping, this opens up peaceful-yet-majestic landscapes in my mind, as I drift over ancient, magical kingdoms and castles. It's lush and simply enchanting.

Very relaxing. A floating melody somewhere between Titanic and an Elven glade.

When those super light staccato string come in, it adds the greatest texture. This is great! I love the deep relaxing sound. Feels like you could just float in it.
