I'm a writer of science fiction, fantasy, and songs as well as a musician. I love cats and chocolate, and have a nice collection of acoustic instruments. My pronouns are zie/zir or she/her.

I can also be found as Wyld_Dandelyon on DreamWidth and Patreon. You can find a lot of my song lyrics there, and other creative stuff too. The song lyrics on Patreon are public posts, but there's more there too!

I give thanks to FAWM for my slowly growing skills at recording. But I've had a lot of fun experimenting with Garage Band to make a song at least marginally presentable in a hurry, while it's still new and strange-to-me.

FAWM History: I really should've added my total every year. But I didn't, so most of the years' totals are my best guess. I know I have (somewhere) the FAWM archive of songs and comments for at least some of these years; if I find those I will update the numbers.

2016 2 or 3

2021 It's been so great everybody. 32 songs, and a bunch of song fragments besides. And I listened to so many songs too. SO MUCH MUSIC! Thanks, everybody!!!

2022 43 songs. I'm stunned! It's been so much fun.

2023 49 songs. And I still haven't written "I am the Anonymous Kracken". But seven 7s of songs shall have to be enough.

May 2023: Covid, followed by ongoing Long Covid. Which thoroughly messed up the 2023 50/90 3. Better than zero, though!

2024: 38. I was ok with the thought that I might not make 14, due to the long covid, so this was a surprise.

2024 50/90: 3 I think

2025: ?

Hi Deirdre, thanks for commenting on Snowman Action. It was a bit of a labour to get it all done (pun not intended, but I'll roll with it), and the whole thing became quite conceptually contrived. So the "cold promises" line was SUPPOSED to reflect firm commitments from management, but also since they're all snowmen still striking in July, it's the absolute best thing they can think of. Like I say - contrived.
This is one of those songs you work on for ages and then have to not listen to for a while to enable you to have any kind of perspective about it.
