I wasn't sure I'd be back this year but here I am (so far!) I really loved FAWM a lot more when it was a mostly self-governing community. The new approach to shaping/curating conversations (while pretending not to) is not for me! Your points are well stated and valid but maybe out of step with the New FAWM? This year, all I want from FAWM 2025 is to be able to enjoy sharing my songs and listening/commenting on those of others. I hope you have a great FAWM and create more cool tracks!
I agree 100%! My plan is to avoid the forums this year (except for a bit of lurking!) and see if I can find enjoyment in just writing songs and listening/commenting on the songs of others.
