All Day All Night

Liner Notes
Going for something a little more up-tempo. This is still quite challenging for me to play on the drums, but I think I got it down pretty well.

Lyrics
All day, all night
Not wrong, not right
Striving relentlessly
To make it turn out right
No rest from the struggle to survive
All day and all night we try to stay alive
No use pretending there is some kind of choice
Or remaining silent when we don't have a voice
All day, all night
The end in sight
We'll have what we want
When there's no other choice
It's not like there is any other way
No where to go to get away
And just by existing we resist
All day, all night
We live, we fight
They've made it impossible
To faithfully comply

Man this is cool; is the video from the same audio track that wound up in the final recording? What program(s) are you using to record it this way?
This isn't my normal style/genre but I thought it was pretty cool. One thing though: maybe if you're going the YouTube route for your music stuff maybe it'd make sense to invest in a kind of overlaid teleprompter setup so that when you're singing, you're staying directly into the camera. I know some folk who've figured out a DIY way to do that and it makes a big difference.

Yeah. Video is from the tracking session, so what you're seeing is what you're hearing. Everything is in one continuous take, and I don't edit audio tracks. For video editing I'm using Shotcut.
