I asked @javakat343 for a collab and I am so happy she said yes! She has such a gifted voice! A very big THANK YOU once again!
I am really proud of what we did together!

I guess this became the best song I ever did for FAWM. I hope you like it as well!

Lyrics

Farewell – I know my heart will break
Farewell – but it is much too late
Farewell – go and find someone new

Farewell – and please don’t count my tears
Farewell – stop wasting both our years
Farewell – we both know what to do

Yes, I sure know myself now and it is clear that we both have flaws
I never gave up on us; I tried to have faith, no matter what

I guess this is the end
You and me – free again
Because I can't hold you

I hope you will find peace
And you will get release
And find a different view

Yes, I sure know myself now and it is clear that we both have flaws
I never gave up on us; I tried to have faith, no matter what

Farewell – go, find new happiness!
Farewell – please don’t dare to come back!
Farewell – don't rest here by my side.

Farewell – if my heart breaks again…
Farewell – ...I won't survive that pain
So, that's why I say: 'So long'!

Go your own way!
Go your own way!
Without me!

Farewell!

I like the repetition of the “farewell” that keeps grounding those verses…. very interesting how you trade it from the vocal to the guitar in the 2nd verse, before bringing it back again later. The quieter section in verse 3 is really effective too.

Yup nice beat, leads nice into the strong vocal! That change around is very nice! I do think the synth adds to it when it comes in and the guitar comes in timely and strongly at all the right times!

Yes! I like the driving beat and the vocals. The repetition of "Farewell" is terrific, both vocally and musically. Excellently done!

Glad I’m the first one to comment on your best FAWM song!. It’s a good one and all the parts sound awesome. Nice lyrics, excellent singing, terrific instrumentation, and solid production.
The strings that come in around 2:39 really drive the song home. Congrats to both of you!
