One of my goals for FAWM was to use my newly acquired Kilpatrick Audio Phenol in a track. (Photo is of the actual patch.)

It is a fully patchable two oscillator synthesizer. I’m a total modular newbie having avoided the rabbit hole for many reasons, mostly financial. I wasn’t looking for this but it came my way via a trade with a nice fellow from P.E.I in late January 2025. It’s a bit of a strange beast and I’m definitely still figuring it out. No external fx or post processing were used in this track.

Nice experimental work, some unique sounds! I got Vcv rack to avoid the hardware space/cost and have done some experiments with it as well from time to time, it is fun for sure!

I am obsessed with this kind of hardware, mostly cos I know nothing about it so it seems like magic to me.
This is like riding on a little rollercoaster.
But a fun one, not one of those giant things.
This is actually pretty humorous for some reason.
