Liner Notes

A short #guitar instrumental that I came up with while playing with settings on a Zoom MS70-CDR pedal. I bought this pedal used and while I have added some patches that I created from scratch, I am not sure about the provenance of this one, which I made only minor changes to for the recording. I think pedals inspire my creativity more than settings in the DAW, however, I did add another layer of delay and sound shaping through the available GarageBand amps.

The opening and closing lines of this are probably usable; the middle needs a little more development.

Again, aiming for simplicity because there's a lot going on in the pedal (key-aware pitch shifter, yay!). I'm also trying to think a little more melodically. Had to do some maths to figure out the BPM from the delay length settings, and then I went straight to recording, just capturing what I had.

I was supposed to be working on something else, a collab, but I've been a little sick, again, so I did this instead. Should be fine tomorrow though.

Fabulous Title. That deserves developing alright.

I'm with you on the usefulness of pedals. I have got lots of songs out of a suggestive pre-set or three...

Big, nice guitar sound. Love those chops! Nice work of melancholy simplicity.

I'm a sucker for simplistic melancholy stuff like this, and I've mostly been coming across vocal songs, so this is kind of a fresh little surprise for me. Nice! Hope you feel better!
