I wrote this in about 40 minutes, but getting it recorded wasn't cooperating with me tonight and my guitar is a bit loose in spots. I felt the pressure and really tried to get it all done in an hour. It's no easy task!

I am a big monstera, living in the French Riviera. I’ve been mistaken for a tree. 
Ok, it’s not the Riviera, but I’m in Phoenix Arizona, hanging in a carport can’t you see

My owners name is kara, she works for a company that makes mascara. She’s been mistaken for a tree.

Ok, her name really is Kara. I’d tell you more I don’t Dara. She waters and fertilizes me.

Wow, very enjoyable song! Made me miss my huge monestera I left in Texas when I moved. What a great premise and lyrics, I felt a mix of Johnny Cash sound in your voice, and the humor of Adam Sandler in your delivery! Your guitar sounds great, very clean and very pretty pickin'. Well done!

These rhymes are making me laugh! I love the rocking of the fingerstyle. The lyrics are great, and I'm not just saying that because monsteras are my favorite houseplant. Really really nice interpretation of the prompt. Thanks for being a part of my skirmish! :)
