#acoustic #relaxed

I have just got back from a week away and am very relaxed. Perhaps this is why this song has come out of me. I found an interesting starting chord which sounded a bit jazzy and it all happened from there. The lyrics mean absolutely nothing but has some nice little lines in it here and there.
I really enjoyed making this.

Lyrics

Are infinities finite?
Which came first,
Day or night?
Are infinities finite?
If only you could see yourself through my eyes,
New ingredients for your nightmares.

Looking for something that’s new,
Another way to think about,
Come in and meet minds that bring you,
All the things you’ve been looking for,
Nothing can take it’s time,
Relativity is nothing new,
(Unless you give it something to compare it to).

New ingredients for your nightmares,
Take your time,
Wait for me to get there…

Are infinities finite?
Which came first,
Day or night?
Are infinities finite?
If only you could see yourself through my eyes,
New ingredients for your nightmares.
Take your time,
Wait for me to get there…

I love the jazzy vibe and I adore how you build the production with the layer additions. The shifting dynamics and the harmony vocals works so well!

Love it!

posing yourself mathematical dilemmas as a prompt for a song is always a great start. lots of lovely harmonic material going on in this with a super tuneful vocal performance. as the textures grow through the song with the backing vocals and the harmonica it really is beautiful to behold. really nice write.

Really love this lyric and your vocal delivery. There is space where it’s needed, there is lift when needed. The accompaniment on guitar is carrying it really nicely, it lets the lyric and vocal shine. Nice job - I particular like the line ‘Day or night, which came first’

The upbeat jazzy feel is entrancing; it's demands the listener's attention, but also has a relaxed feel that's rather soothing (even if the "new ingredients for you nightmares" line is a bit ominous!). A swell listen for just chilling out and experiencing the flows of the song.
