Not the beeest song I've done ever, but I've had a set of songs loosely set around a couple of characters I came up with and the prompt made the Bo Diddley blues beat appear in my head. Apologies for coming in a bit late - I was dealing with technical difficulties with my computer! Everything's good now though, and I got the main song written and recorded under an hour anyways so it feels skirmish-y enough.

Fun fact: it's raining today where I'm at.

Sounds like you're a good dude to have around. Lyrics about being there, protecting others, dealing with life as it comes. Good guitar playing and singing, too. Fine skirmish with potential as a keeper.

Cool guitar effects in the intro and transitions. Great beat and energy in your song. I really like the chorus - nice melodic and lyrical pace departure and excellent use of space. Nice add of the lead guitar. Love the outro and that ethereal sound. Cool lyrics also. I enjoyed listening to your song!
