Liner Notes

Well I managed to sneak another one in, just in time. It's not a very cheery tale, but sometimes echoes are like that

Lyrics

Echoes from the time we lived before
When we loved each other
Before you walked through temptation’s door
When we respected each other

Echoes from a distant time
We sat together drinking wine
We had our lives ahead, not meant to be
You told me that you saw right through me

Echoes from another life
When we both believed in an afterlife
Now I’m not sure where you are anymore
I shut it tight when you walked through that door

I’m only left with echoes
There’s nothing left, only echoes

Echoes from the past -- an idea that worked really well in this song. There's an open and expansive sound to your musical and vocal track here, too, like an echo effect lightly laid over the top? Nicely done!

I'm totally impressed by how you write more than one song in an hour - I struggle to get one in the time. And all sounding so good. Amazing. :-)

So sad and touches my heart!

I like the melancholy feel and the look back to what feels like the distant past. Nice echoey sound too. Thanks for supporting the skirmish!

I like the texture you get with the guitar echoes. The sound sets the mood for the sad, nostalgic lyrics. Nice work!

Two great takes on the prompt within the hour - impressive! "Now I'm not sure where you are anymore / I shut it tight when you walked through that door" is a devastating couplet.

Beautiful guitar that compliments to the lyrical theme nicely. Good work!
