Whew. One hour. Actually I was late getting started so 55 minutes including uploading to Soundcloud, etc. Kinda new to this skirmish stuff, so no polish on this whatsoever--just a lyric whipped up in emergency fashion and ditto for the rest.

Windshield thoughts! What a brilliant phrase. Considering you got everything all done, including the recording, in an hour! I always screw up when I try to record. 😅 I personally don't care if people take longer than an hour. I think it's great to try to hurry and write as quickly as you can, because it's a great practice. Sometimes the recording takes a while though. Anyway, I love the sentiment of this and the simple arrangement of the guitar and your voice, which sounds kind of careworn here, is super effective. Great skirmish!

i like this kind of directly-from-my-heart-to-yours love song. but what are windshield thoughts? my impression is that they are the daydreams one has while driving, but thats just a guess as i have never heard it before. did you coin it?
