Liner Notes
This one is the second of my '12 short nonsense songs about love' concept. Cressida thought she had found her man - but alas no.
Lyrics
She loved him so much
She thought he would be the forever one
His near perfect touch
Left her just gasping, oblivion
But now she just cries
The tears sting with salt in her eyes
Oh Cressida fallen
Cressida fallen from love

I'm loving these shorts! I'm sorry I'm so slow to catch up. Great tension in the opening chord structures, that reverb and the minor mood. The reverb and delay on gasping is a wonderful touch! I love how working on these shorter songs give you a chance to be really experimental and detailed with production. The harmonies on 'the tears sting with salt in her eyes' really punchy!

Just love the rich bass and ambient guitars. Atmospherically perfect for the subject. Beautiful piece. It feels very complete even in it's brevity. Wonderful listen!

Sweet and Short. Nice Rhythm and lead Guitar work. Vocal and Harmonies are nice too. Enjoyed the Listen.

Beautiful, slightly enigmatic little portrait, Rich! This spare use of language really works well alongside the gorgeous guitar tone. Great work!

So short but so insightful and beautiful. Really enjoyed it.

But now she just cries. What a line. For being this short this really tugs on the heartstrings! I hope all the best for the poor Cressida.

Enjoyed my listen. Something Beatle esque about the end section. Poor Cressida. My great love (husband) came from friendship that grew and bloomed and I think that's the best!

The last two lines have a nice lilt to them. That amazing chemistry between lovers is a red flag for some of us. Good job.
