Feb 3rd. This is an #acousticonetake #bluesy song. I don't really know where it came from - maybe Covid lockdown or an isolating 'flu. The lyrics came fast and the chords were easy. An hour ago it was called 'Too Quiet' then I remembered that I enjoy the silence - sometime.

For me this one braids together solitude and loneliness. The ways that other people are a hassle, when you are trying to create something, but it sure is nice to have someone to listen to the song once it's done. I liked that you toggled between titles Quiet and Too Quiet. The idea that the things we know we want also can oppress us sometimes feels important. I especially like that line "I haven't freed a word in weeks"

You've certainly created the perfect musical setting for this lyric... down to the sotto voce delivery and the intermittently walking bassline riff. Especially like the line about junk mail fluttering like leaves to the doormat!

I really like the almost bass line that you’ve got going on on the guitar and the mutedness of it too. The guitar work is awesome. I like how it’s played/sang quietly to match the song.
