This was the first song of my 14-song feast yesterday. I started it shortly after midnight on Feb 1st, then fell asleep while writing. Finished it yesterday morning but then wrote 13 more songs and sort of forgot how it went? But it's fine.

We thought we were prepared

And we're all a little scared

And everything's a cycle
And every cycle ends
And hopefully we can catch our breath
Before we begin again
The thing to do in January
Is daydream about June
But the way that things are feeling
Spring may as well be the moon

So grab an extra sweater
And brandy in a glass
Hunker down and get cozy
Wait for all of this to pass
And if we all survive this
As it tumbles into months
Let's never take the good life for granted
